• Keeping your profile fully up to date and accurate is extremely important
• The more accurate and up to date your profile is the more user benefits you will receive

• Invite people that you would like to share information and network with online
• Find existing Members by clicking on their ‘User Name’ or by using the ‘Find a Member’ button
• Track information posted by Members that you connect with
Join Interest Groups to network with Members that share similar interests to you
My Groups Forums
• Post to your Interest Group Forums and Alert other Group Members as you post
• Read and comment on Interest Group posts and communications
• View and contribute to the latest Interest Group News and Updates
• Access the latest Group Events and Training
• Meet the UKOCN Partners and learn about their Products and Services
• Stand or nominate for Interest Group ‘Chair’

Create a Personal Blog/Web Journal Blog
The purpose of a UKOCN Blog is to provide every Member with their own easy to use personal web space set within an established collaborative, community driven network.
Your Blog is connected to your Interest Groups, giving you the opportunity and control to notify a significant like-minded audience each time you post.
Blogging Tips for Beginners:
• Blogging is best learned by Blogging, so what are you waiting for?
• Linking and commenting is at the heart of effective Blogging – it’s what the internet is all about.
• Express yourself, and develop your own Blogging style and personality.
• Have an opinion and do not be afraid to express it.
