Oracle award kicks off another promising year for e-DBA

25th March, 09:00am

Brighton, UK, 25 March, 2009 - Long-standing Oracle Partner, e-DBA, announced today that being awarded the title of 'General Business Technology Partner of the Year' at Oracle UK's Partner Awards ceremony held this month in London was yet another huge boost for the solutions provider.

Only last month, e-DBA was awarded Oracle's Certified Advantage Partner status; the highest membership level within the Oracle PartnerNetwork. And, as director of e-DBA, Alex Louth remarks: "Both accolades mean a huge amount to the e-DBA team, testimony to our customer success and commitment to excellence. Over the last two years we've really focused on delivering cost effective Oracle solutions to the general business markets and our efforts were rewarded in 2008 when we doubled our business.

"The figures for Q1 indicate we're well on target for 2009," says Louth: "And fending off three other nominees to win the prestigious General Business Technology Partner award is evidence that the judges agreed that we're delivering innovative solutions and achieving strong customer success using Oracle technology. We look forward to building on our ten year relationship and commitment to Oracle and the UK general business market."

Oracle has over 1100 UK registered Partners and hosts an annual awards ceremony to recognize outstanding performance; this year's event was held at the London Landmark Hotel on March 12. This year Oracle gave out 16 awards. Alan Hartwell, VP of Technology Solutions and Channels, Oracle UK said: "I'd like to offer a huge congratulations to e-DBA. It has demonstrated truly innovative solutions and is a great example of a company that has thought outside the box to bring true business value for customers. The Oracle PartnerNetwork strives to provide support, services and expertise that help its partners succeed, and e-DBA has leveraged these elements to accelerate its business. We are proud to be involved with e-DBA and wish the firm the greatest success for the future."
