1- 3 November 2010 Oracle Partners - OBI 11g New Version Update Workshop:
Due to cancellations there are now some spaces available for Partners to attend this FREE three day workshop.
Oracle would like to invite you to attend this FREE 3-day OBI 11g Partner Workshop on 1st - 3rd November 2010 at Oracle's office in Reading.
The new version of Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI 11g) was launched 7th July 2010. To make sure you know what the new capabilities of this product are, and how to implement this at your customers, we are offering this hands-on technical workshop to a selection of our preferred OBI specialist partners.
Objectives:
This training will provide attendees with a good technical understanding of the new capabilities of OBI 11g. This will be a high intensity introduction to the new architecture, administrations and development functions of the product, and how you can implement OBI 11g or upgrade existing OBI 10g clients: so you must already have OBI 10g skills and experience to participate.
Target Audience:
This hands-on technical workshop is aimed at already skilled OBI 10g implementation consultants within Oracle's Gold or Platinum OPN Partners who already sell and implement OBI. Places are limited, and priority will be given to partners or individuals with OPN OBI Specialised accreditation (see here for details for the Business Intelligence Foundation - Business and Competency Criteria). If you personally have not yet passed the OBI 10g Exam (1Z0-526-ENU : Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation 10.1.3 Essentials), then you should go to this link asap - http://www.pearsonvue.com/Oracle/ - and at minimum schedule a date when you will take the exam. People who have not taken or scheduled this exam are unlikely to get a place on this 3-day OBI 11g New Version Update training.
You must also bring a suitable laptop to load the OBI 11g software for the training – see below for minimum specification.
Agenda:
This training provides BI Developers and Architects with an essential knowledge and “hands-on” experience with the latest release Oracle BI 11g. Delegates will each work their way through a fresh 11g installation and then upgrade an existing 10g application. In addition, Delegates will implement a series of enhancements to the upgraded application by making use of 11g’s exciting new features. This training will be delivered by an experienced consultant from one of our 11g beta programme partners, Peak Indicators : Download here the full course description in PDF format.
