What UKOCN Communications will I receive by default?

If you are a Member of UKOCN or if you have selected to receive UKOCN Community Newsletters, you will automatically receive a copy of UKOCN Community News. Sent to all Members and Subscribes, these Newsletters are designed to provide a 'snap shot' of what's been happening within the UK Oracle Community;   News, Articles, White Papers, Press Releases, Jobs, Events, Training, Forums, Blogs and more.

If you have selected to join one of our many Interest Groups for Database/DBMS, Application Server/Middleware, Business Intelligence/EPM, Applications/E-Business Suite, Financial Management/Financials, Human Capital Management/HRMS, Customer Relationship Management, Siebel, Hyperion, JD Edwards, Oracle on Windows and .NET, PeopleSoft or Oracle Community Jobs, then you will automatically receive a regular digest from the Group Administrator summarising your Group Activity.

UKOCN actively encourage and welcome Members participation and all appropriate Interest Group posts will be included within the Group Activity updates.

If you wish to join a new Interest Group or you want to receive Community Job Updates for both Permanent and Contract Jobs go to My Groups and select Groups/Join.  If you receive unwanted communications or you want to leave an Interest Group simply select to unsubscribe by using the Unsubscribe link or by going to My Groups/My Membership.

Member Privacy

Unlike some other Professional Communities, all of your personal details remain private from other Members. They are not viewable on-line and only your user name is posted against your input into your Interest Groups, Forums and Blogs. Members are able to contact each other directly through the use of Private Messages and Members can be found by going to 'Find a Member' or by clicking on the 'User Name' within Community Network posts.
