Redwood Shores, CA - April 6, 2009
News Facts
Oracle continues to innovate and advance Oracle Application Integration Architecture's (AIA) business process integration offerings and capabilities with the release of an updated Oracle® AIA Foundation Pack 2.3, a new Oracle AIA Foundation Pack for Communications and six new out-of the box Oracle AIA Process Integration Packs (PIPs).
Now with even more business value-adding tools and enhancements, Oracle AIA provides the most complete and open way for organizations to integrate end-to-end business processes across a broad range of custom, Oracle or third-party applications, enabling greater efficiencies, an increased competitive edge and lower total cost of ownership.
Designed to promote rapid deployment, re-usability and configurability of business processes, the enhanced Oracle AIA Foundation Pack 2.3 delivers newly added AIA Reference Process Models for business users including new content for communications and utilities industries as well as six new composite business flows in support of the new Oracle AIA PIPs. Release 2.3 also delivers new and enhanced Enterprise Business Objects and Services and developer productivity utilities including a new Application Business Connector Service Artifacts Generator, Composite Application Framework and XSLT Mapper Document Generator.
Oracle Application Integration Architecture Communications Foundation Pack is an industry-specific set of business objects and web services that provide the communications market a standardized way to simplify and reduce the time to deploy cross-application business process integrations. It provides a prebuilt architecture designed for re-usability and configurability, a communications specific business process model, Enterprise Business Objects (EBOs) and Enterprise Business Services (EBSs) that are compliant with the Telemanagement Forum SID standards.
